Senior Management Accountant (Temp to Perm)

Availability: Immediate

Location: London

Contract Type: Initial 6 months

We are working with a large, well-established international, listed consumer business to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a contract basis. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is highly proficient in management accounts and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, structured environment.

The Role

• Take ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Prepare and review P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide clear financial insight and commentary.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and periodic re‑forecast cycles.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and controls.
• Gain exposure to treasury‑related activities, including cash forecasting and cash management support (training provided — no prior treasury experience required).

Key Requirements

• Strong experience producing management accounts end‑to‑end.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Confident communicator, able to explain financial performance to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working within established finance systems.
• Available to attend the office 2–3 days per week.
