At Bouygues we require an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor for a specific project based in Jersey. Bouygues’ operates an MEP Unbundled strategy, reducing reliance on external suppliers to improve quality, safety, and project control.
Key Qualifications
- Previous experience in M&E Quantity Surveying at a senior level with a main contractor/MEP subcontractor
- Managing (M&E) subcontractor packages
- Experience in producing financial reports, including forecast, net margin, and activity
- Strong commercial awareness
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produces accurate work
- Facilitates the training and development of the Quantity Surveying Team
- Demonstrates a solid understanding/management of company reporting timetables, as well as key tools & procedures
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Experience covering both pre- and post-contract phases
Role Summary
Maximise the commercial results of projects by delivering optimum profit performance against internal budgets. Manage procurement of Sub‑contractors and financial & contractual oversight. Collaborate with the Project Manager and other team members. Prepare and agree Interim Valuations with the Client & progress the agreement of Variations as work proceeds, utilising company tools.
