Job summary
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is looking for enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our friendly and supportive teams at Rutland Memorial Hospital.

These are exciting opportunities to work within a physical healthcare setting, supporting patients who require sub-acute care, palliative care and complex rehabilitation. Every day brings the chance to help people recover, maintain their independence and receive the highest standard of compassionate care.

What You'll Do
Working alongside experienced registered nurses and multidisciplinary colleagues, you'll provide essential hands-on care and support to our patients, ensuring their dignity, comfort and wellbeing are at the heart of everything you do.

  • Flexible with Rota Shift patterns - Please note this is a 24-hour, 7-day service and the role includes a mixture of:


Long days: 7:00am to 7:30pm
Nights: 7:00pm to 7:30am
Weekend and bank holiday working

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. The minimum contracted hours available are 34.5 hours per week. Applications requiring sponsorship or fewer hours cannot be considered.

Main duties of the job

  • Undertaking clinical observations and providing clinical care as delegated.
  • Supporting our patients in maintaining their health, well-being and independence.
  • Providing personal care to include washing, dressing and toileting / continence care.
  • Accurately recording patient information.
  • Working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
