We are looking for a HR Advisor
Location: Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset
Shift: Monday - Friday Client can be flexible so either 8am-4pm or 8:30am-4:30pm
Salary: £35,020 per annum (£17.95 an hour)
Permanent contract but also our client is happy with a temporary to permanent contract
JDR is recruiting for a HR Advisor to work for a client of ours in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset.
The role: As a HR Advisor your duties will be as followed:
- Provide HR advice and support to managers on employee relations, recruitment, attendance management, policy compliance, and changes to working arrangements.
- Manage and support employee relations processes, including coaching managers, advising on disciplinary and grievance matters, and supporting formal HR procedures.
- Maintain accurate HR records, data, and reporting, ensuring GDPR compliance, producing management information, and analysing workforce trends to inform decision-making.
- Develop, review, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and guidance, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders, including managers, employees, HR colleagues, and trade union representatives, while contributing to organisational improvement.
About you: As a HR Advisor you will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor in a fast-paced environment.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified practitioner with a thorough understanding of HR principles, policies, and best practice across the employee life cycle.
- Extensive recruitment experience.
- Strong experience in employee relations, including trade union liaison, with knowledge of employment policies, current and upcoming legislation.
- Experience and confidence to advise and influence others.
- An organised approach with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- A focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience of payroll processing with third-party providers.
- Excellent IT, analytical and negotiating skills.
- Full UK clean driving licence.
