About the Role The successful Science Technician will provide practical and technical support across the science department, ensuring lessons are properly resourced and laboratories are maintained to a high standard. The role will involve: Preparing equipment, materials and practical resources for lessons Supporting teachers with experiments, demonstrations and practical activities Maintaining and organising laboratories and science equipment Checking, cleaning and safely storing equipment Ensuring appropriate health and safety procedures are followed Monitoring science stock and ordering resources when required Reporting damaged or faulty equipment Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the science department Experience and Qualifications The school is looking for a dependable and well-organised individual with good practical skills and strong attention to detail. Previous experience as a Science Technician, Laboratory Technician or within a scientific environment would be advantageous.
