The Role The successful SEN Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs and abilities of pupils. You will work closely with teaching assistants, pastoral staff and other professionals to ensure pupils receive the appropriate support to make strong academic and personal progress. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEN needs Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development Working collaboratively with support staff, colleagues and external professionals Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement Contributing to individual education and support plans where appropriate What the School is Looking For The school is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic SEN Teacher with a strong understanding of inclusive teaching and differentiated learning.
