The successful candidate will support practical teaching and help maintain a safe, well-organised laboratory environment. The Role Prepare Biology practicals: Set up specimens, microscopes, slides and relevant equipment. Support Chemistry lessons: Prepare appropriate apparatus, solutions and materials. Assist teachers: Provide technical support during practical sessions. Maintain equipment: Clean, check and store laboratory apparatus correctly. Manage resources: Monitor consumables and maintain accurate stock records. Follow safety procedures: Ensure practical preparation complies with school policies and relevant guidance. The Candidate Biology/Chemistry experience: Strong practical understanding of at least one discipline. Laboratory capable: Comfortable working with standard school laboratory equipment.
