A successful school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced and organised Finance Manager to join its dedicated administrative team on a full-time basis, starting ASAP. The Role The successful Finance Manager will oversee the school's financial processes, ensuring that budgets, payments, reporting and financial records are managed accurately and efficiently. Key responsibilities will include: Managing day-to-day school finance operations Monitoring budgets, expenditure and income Processing invoices, payments and financial transactions Preparing financial reports and supporting budget planning Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant procedures Liaising with suppliers, staff and senior leaders regarding financial matters Supporting the school leadership team with financial planning and decision-making Experience and Qualifications The school is looking for a Finance Manager who: Has previous experience in a finance management or senior finance role Has strong knowledge of financial processes and budget management Is confident using financial systems and Microsoft Office Has excellent organisational and communication skills Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Can work independently while contributing positively to a wider team About the School The school provides a supportive and professional working environment where staff are valued and encouraged to contribute to the continued success of the organisation.
