Chemistry Teacher Role Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE Kingston upon Thames MPS1 – UPS3 Salary Full-time, Permanent ASAP Start You will teach Science across KS3 and specialise in Chemistry at KS4. The successful teacher will be responsible for planning lessons that develop students' understanding of chemical principles while also preparing GCSE students for their examinations. Students will study areas including atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, quantitative chemistry, energy changes and the Earth's resources. You will use demonstrations, practical investigations and problem-solving activities to reinforce the theory covered in lessons. Assessment will be an important part of the position. You will track progress, identify misconceptions and provide targeted support where students need additional guidance. The ability to work collaboratively with other Science teachers will also be essential.
