Your new school

Hays Education are working with a number of weing primary schools in the B93 area who are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams this academic year.Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or have transferable experience supporting children and young people, I’d love to hear from you.

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Working with small groups to reinforce learning
• Providing one-to-one support where needed
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and independence
• Assisting with classroom preparation and daily routines

Roles are available on both a full-time and part-time basis, with opportunities for long-term and permanent positions.

What you'll need to succeed

We're keen to hear from candidates who:

• Have experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or youth work setting
• Are passionate about supporting children's learning and development
• Have excellentmunication and teamwork skills
• Are reliable, proactive and adaptable
• Hold a TA qualification (Level 2/3, CACHE, NVQ or equivalent) preferred
