Warehouse Operative (Weekends)

Ready to Build a Career That Really "Fits"? 🛠️ At MFI.co.uk , we’re experts in making houses feel like homes. But before that stylish sofa or sleek wardrobe makes it to a customer's living room, it needs a superstar to get it there! We’re looking for energetic, hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our bustling team. If you’ve got a "can-do" attitude and don't mind a bit of heavy lifting (we promise it’s more rewarding than flat-pack instructions!), we want to hear from you. What’s on the Table? (The Role) You’re the engine room of our operation. You won't just be "shelf-ish" with your time; you’ll be vital in ensuring our customers get exactly what they ordered, right when they need it. Your daily "to-do" list: Unload & Inspect: Checking deliveries with an eye for detail sharper than a designer coffee table. Stock Superstars: Organising and storing goods so everything has its perfect place. Pick & Pack: Using our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to find and prep orders with speed and accuracy. Safety First: Operating pallet trucks and manual handling equipment like a pro. (Got PPT experience? Even better! We’ll assess you to get you moving). Quality Control: Ensuring every box is packed securely so it arrives in "showroom" condition. Are You the Perfect "Match"? We aren't looking for someone to just "fill a space"—we want someone who wants to grow with us! You’ll be a great fit if you have: The Muscle: A good level of physical fitness (you’ll be on your feet and moving stock regularly). The Brain: Great organisational skills and a knack for meeting deadlines. The Tech: Basic IT literacy—don’t worry, our systems are easier to navigate than a maze of aisles! The Vibe: A positive, "glass-half-full" attitude and a commitment to being a team player. Pro Tip: If you’re someone who takes pride in a tidy workspace and loves seeing a job well done, you’ll fit right in like a modular shelving unit! Warehouse Operative Shift: Saturday-Tuesday 7:30am-6:30pm Location: MFI.co.uk Warehouses (Skelmersdale) Hours: 40 Hours a week (days) Why Join the MFI Team? We offer a fast-paced, friendly environment where no two days are the same. We value hard work and reward it with a supportive atmosphere and plenty of opportunities to learn. Ready to "cushion" your career with a great new role?
