Are you confident, driven and able to build strong relationships over the phone?

A growing specialist recruitment business in the food and drink manufacturing sector is hiring two Recruitment Consultants due to continued growth:

One consultant to join its Permanent Recruitment team
One consultant to join its Interim Recruitment team

Previous recruitment experience isn’t essential. You could already be working in recruitment, or you may come from a successful sales background and be looking for a new career where your effort is genuinely rewarded.

The Role

• Building relationships with new and existing clients
• Speaking with candidates and understanding their career goals
• Proactively developing new business over the phone
• Sourcing and interviewing suitable candidates
• Managing the recruitment process from initial conversation through to placement
• Developing your knowledge of the FMCG and food manufacturing market
• Working closely with an experienced and supportive team

About You

You don’t need previous recruitment or FMCG experience, but you will need:

• A proven background in sales, with the ability to evidence your performance
• Confidence speaking with prospective clients and candidates over the phone
• A genuine desire to do well and build a successful career
• Resilience, self-motivation and a positive attitude
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The confidence to ask questions, learn and take ownership of your desk
• Recruitment experience would be welcomed, but attitude, drive and evidence of sales success are more important.
