Cleaning Supervisor

Kindred are looking for a hardworking and reliable cleaning supervisor to be based in an educational building located in: Tonbridge, Kent

Pay rate: £16.00 per hour.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 18:00-23:00

Location: Somerhill House, Tonbridge TN11 0NJ

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to inspire and guide our dedicated cleaning team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our client sites consistently meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, directly contributing to Kindred's reputation for outstanding service.

As a key leader in our on-site operations, you will:

• Empower and motivate your team through comprehensive training and ongoing support.
• Conduct thorough inspections, ensuring strict adherence to health & safety regulations and our rigorous quality standards.
• Efficiently manage stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies, optimising resources.
• Develop and implement effective work schedules, allocating tasks to ensure seamless and efficient workflow.

Minimum requirements:

• Previous cleaning or supervising experience.
• Must be able to commit to working hours as these hours are fixed.
• Can reliably commute to the site location.
• Able to complete the physical demands of the role with reasonable adjustments.
• Complete tasks within a specified timeframe.
• An ability to communicate in English, although English as a first language is not a requirement.

Required Criteria

• Able to fulfil the fixed shift patterns of the role.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations.
• Experience in managing stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies.

Desired Criteria

• Experience within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH).
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for tasks such as scheduling and reporting.
• Relevant certifications in cleaning or facilities management.
• Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor.
