We're looking for a Resourcing Specialist to join our People Team and play a vital role in ensuring we have the right people, in the right roles, at the right time. Supporting hiring managers across the Trust, you'll lead recruitment activity for a variety of roles, with a particular focus on attracting frontline Support Workers who make a real difference every day.
This is more than recruitment. It's an opportunity to shape workforce plans, influence hiring strategies, and help deliver outstanding care and support services across Yorkshire.
What You'll Be Doing
Recruitment & Attraction
- Manage a high-volume and varied recruitment workload across the Trust.
- Create engaging job adverts and recruitment campaigns that attract diverse talent.
- Screen, shortlist and coordinate candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Develop talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and critical vacancies.
Workforce Planning
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand current and future workforce needs.
- Use recruitment data and insights to inform attraction strategies and workforce planning.
- Support succession planning and internal career development initiatives.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on recruitment best practice and workforce solutions.
- Collaborate with People Team colleagues, Finance partners, and external recruitment suppliers.
- Champion inclusive and co-produced recruitment approaches, ensuring the people we support have a meaningful voice in selecting their future support workers.
Data, Compliance & Improvement
- Monitor recruitment KPIs, including time-to-hire and candidate conversion rates.
- Produce regular reports and insights for leadership teams.
- Ensure recruitment processes meet all safeguarding, GDPR, Right to Work, DBS, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, and CQC requirements.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes, employer brand, and candidate experience.
What We're Looking For
✅ Previous experience working in an internal recruitment, talent acquisition, resourcing, or recruitment coordinator role
✅ Experience managing multiple vacancies and stakeholders simultaneously
✅ Strong relationship-building and communication skills
✅ Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
✅ Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
✅ Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of recruitment compliance
✅ Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
✅ A proactive, solution-focused mindset and a genuine passion for finding great talent
