A well-established and progressive law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Care Solicitor to join its busy and supportive Care and Private Children Law team.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated solicitor to develop their career within a highly regarded childcare law department, working on a varied and rewarding caseload of public law children matters.

The Role\n

As a Care Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload of care proceedings and associated children law matters. You will provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients, ensuring the best possible outcomes for children and families.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of public childcare and care proceedings matters
\n
• Advising and representing parents and other parties throughout care proceedings
\n
• Conducting advocacy at court hearings
\n
• Preparing legal documentation, statements and court applications
\n
• Building strong and supportive relationships with clients
\n
• Working closely with colleagues and contributing to the continued success of the department
\n
• Managing competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Maintaining high standards of client care and legal service delivery
\n

About You\n

The successful candidate will be an experienced and committed Solicitor with a genuine passion for childcare law.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience in childcare law and care proceedings
\n
• Strong advocacy skills
\n
• The ability to manage a caseload independently
\n
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
\n
• A compassionate and client-focused approach
\n
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
\n
• A commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and families
