Job Description:

As a Cleaner at Army HQ Andover SP11 8HT, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality cleaning services that contribute to a clean, safe, and healthy environment. This role is integral to the well-being of everyone on site, and you'll be an essential part of our team. You'll have the opportunity to interact with our armed forces personnel daily, making a real impact on their quality of life and the overall atmosphere of the location.

What You'll Do:

• Clean and maintain all designated areas to the required standards.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks within the required timeframe.
• Safely use cleaning equipment, products and chemicals following appropriate training.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Complete all required training and follow instructions and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear the required uniform and PPE.
• Report accidents, near misses, hazards or faulty equipment to management.
• Communicate effectively with your manager, colleagues, customers and clients.
• Attend team briefings, meetings and performance reviews as required.
• Look after cleaning equipment, materials and supplies.
• Carry out manual handling duties where required.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by management.

What You Bring:

Essential:

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail.
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties where required.
• Reliable, responsible and willing to learn.

Desirable:

• Previous cleaning experience.
• Experience working within a military environment.
