To provide social, emotional, and practical support to people accessing Platfform services across a range of projects. Relief Workers play a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing challenges with their mental health, emotional well-being, housing, and wider life circumstances, ensuring people receive high-quality, person-centred support.
The role will involve working flexibly across a variety of services and locations, including mental health, crisis intervention, community-based support, and accommodation-based projects, depending on service need. Whilst the primary requirement for this role is to provide cover within the Sanctuary service, supporting shifts between 5pm and 1am, opportunities may also be available across other Platfform projects, which may operate different hours and shift patterns.
This is a 0-hour relief position, providing cover across a range of Platfform services as required. Relief Workers are expected to be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, often at short notice, to help meet the needs of services and the people we support. Whilst there is no guarantee of hours, opportunities may include daytime, evening, weekend, bank holiday, waking night, and sleep-in shifts depending on service requirements.
All support provided will be in line with Platfform's values and commitment to recovery-focused, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approaches.
