Temporary Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced Temporary Housekeeper, for our client in Reading with a private Estate, for a selection of dates in November.

The successful candidate will work as part of an established household team, helping to maintain the property to an exceptionally high standard and providing a high level of service to the family and their guests.

Duties

• Daily housekeeping and cleaning throughout the property
• Making and changing beds
• Care of antiques, fine fabrics and furnishings
• Laundry and ironing
• Preparing breakfast trays and assisting with serving when required
• Assisting with event spaces and wider areas of the property
• Supporting the household team when guests are in residence
• Working flexibly and supporting other members of the household team as required

The ideal candidate will be experienced, flexible and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a team. A willingness to assist across all areas of the household is essential, particularly when the property is busy or guests are in residence.

Dates and working hours required:

• Saturday 7th: 4pm - 9pm
• Sunday 8th: 7am-2pm and 5pm-9pm (split shift)
• Tuesday 17th: 7am - 2pm and 5pm - 11pm (split shift)
• Wednesday 18th: 7am – 2pm and 5pm - 11pm (split shift)
• Sunday 29th: 5pm - 9pm

Salary: £22gph
