We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Reablement Support Workers to join our dynamic Adult Health & Social Care team. This role is pivotal in assisting residents within their homes, focusing on restoring their confidence, independence, and daily living skills after illness, hospital discharge, or life changes. You will deliver personal care, practical assistance, and emotional support, ensuring the promotion of independence and dignity at all times.
Requirements:
This position is ideal for individuals with experience as a Reablement Support Worker, Care Assistant, Home Care Worker, Domiciliary Care Worker, Community Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, or Adult Social Care Support Worker.
Requirements
Essential Requirements Experience supporting vulnerable adults, older people, or individuals with care needs. Understanding of person-centred care and promoting independence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexibly across a rota including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Good literacy and numeracy skills. Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Physically able to undertake moving and handling duties. Ability to travel across Swindon and surrounding areas. Desirable Requirements NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards. Experience in Reablement, Home Care, Domiciliary Care, or Adult Social Care. Moving & Handling training. Knowledge of safeguarding and adult care services.
