This position is well-suited to individuals who are looking to work occasionally and contribute in a meaningful way, especially during peak periods or when extra ceremonial support is required.Key Responsibilities: Assisting at funeral services
- bearing coffins, setting up venues, and supporting mournersDriving and operating specialist vehicles such as hearses and limousinesRepresenting Dignity Funerals with professionalism and empathyProviding respectful, discreet support to families on the day of the serviceMaintaining ceremonial standards in appearance, conduct, and service deliveryAbout YouWe're looking for someone who: Demonstrates compassion, empathy, and professionalismUnderstands the importance of presentation and discretionIs physically capable of manual handling tasks, including lifting and carryingHolds a Full UK Driving Licence (essential)Is reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours, including short-notice availabilityIs comfortable with tasks that involve direct contact with the deceasedNo previous experience in funeral care is required
