Job description
As a family-run company, we strive to provide customers with the support, care and friendly service they expect from their local Optician. That is why we give our Optometrists professional freedom to spend as much time as they need with each customer, along with back-up support from a highly trained retail team. We pride ourselves in committing valuable time to all of our staff for career progression and opportunities, in turn creating dedicated individuals that are focussed on providing a seamless customer experience. Full induction, training and support to help you settle in as well as access to E-learning Exclusive staff discount as well as friends and family discount Fully computerised system 30 minutes test time on average 25 days plus bank holidays Continuous updates to our optical product ranges providing you with a chance to work with a unique range of top quality products. What we’re looking for Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, we are searching for someone who shares our Company ethos based on providing excellent care and putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. If you are someone who wants to grow, develop and offer exceptional customer care along the way, Scrivens may well be the place for you. We want a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, that isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach and who is keen to get involved and build rapport with the rest of the team. In summary, we’re looking for a skilled resident Optometrist to join us, be part of the team and assist in driving our practice forward. The Scrivens Business Scrivens is a family owned optical and hearing care business. Originally based in Birmingham Scrivens has grown gradually to the point where it now consists of over 166 retail branches across England, Scotland and Wales.
