Job description
VolkerFitzpatrick offers a range and depth of civil engineering, infrastructure and building services. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sub Agent / CRE-C to join the Southern Renewals Enterprise. The role will be based from our office in Gravesend, working within our Earthworks team and covering schemes predominantly across the Kent route. This presents an excellent opportunity for an existing CRE-C to transition into their next challenge, or for someone with a solid experience within rail and/or earthworks to work towards CRE status. About you MEng/BEng/Foundation Degree/BTEC/ Degree in Civil Engineering. Experience in undertaking the role as CRE & TWC within a Rail, Civil Engineering Groundworks or Structures environment Mentoring Project and Assistant Engineers Managing direct and subcontract works Ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety are maintained on site Good understanding of contracts and providing support to the commercial team in managing costs and maximising engineering efficiencies. Managing the integration of the Civils scope of work from the design, into the construction stage and managing the interfaces with other disciplines on the project.
