We're Hiring | Metallurgist / Engineer | Birmingham (B8) | Up to £37,000
Coats Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our engineering and manufacturing client for an experienced Metallurgist / Engineer to join their team in Birmingham (B8).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong metallurgical background who is looking for a varied role with real responsibility and the opportunity to make an impact.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
• Contract reviews and estimating
• Tooling, fixture and inductor design
• Process development and production planning
• Machine setting, operation and programming
• Quality inspections and technical reporting
• Customer and supplier liaison
• Equipment maintenance and continuous improvement
• Training and supporting production staff
• Supervisory responsibilities, including timesheets, attendance and temporary workforce management
We're looking for someone with:
✔ A metallurgical background
✔ Strong engineering knowledge
✔ Manufacturing or production engineering experience
✔ Previous supervisory experience (preferred)
✔ Excellent communication and organisational skills
Salary: Up to £37,000, depending on experience.
