Job description

Learning & Development Coordinator Milton Keynes | Part-time (21 hours over 4 days) £15,263.46 per annum Great learning experiences dont happen by accident. Theyre created by organised people who enjoy helping others, embrace technology and love making things work better. As MacIntyre approaches its 60th year, were continuing to invest in how we support our colleagues, use technology and create even better learning experiences across our organisation. Thats where you come in. Were looking for a Learning & Development Coordinator to help us get the very best from our learning platforms and support colleagues across MacIntyre to access the learning they need to make a real difference to the people we support. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and making life easier for others. Youll work closely with our Learning Management Systems Lead and Learning & Development Team, becoming one of our Learning Management System specialists while helping shape the future of digital learning at MacIntyre. Whether youre already working in Learning & Development, HR, training administration or another customer-focused administrative role, wed love to hear from you if youre organised, curious, enjoy technology and are excited by the opportunity to learn. What youll be doing Some days youll be solving a system issue. Others youll be improving a process, supporting a colleague or helping shape the future of digital learning. Every day, youll make learning easier for someone. It may also require you to travel between locations, so a driving licence, with use of a car, that has business insurance is essential. * Coordinate learning activities across MacIntyre. * Support the day-to-day administration and ongoing development of our Learning Management System. * Become a key point of contact for colleagues using our learning platforms, including Totara and other learning technologies. * Manage learner records, user accounts, permissions and system data. * Produce accurate reports and management information using learning data. * Help improve data quality, digital adoption and the overall user experience. * Identify opportunities to simplify processes and continuously improve how we deliver learning. * Work with external system providers on configuration, updates and enhancements. * Support managers, administrators and colleagues across the organisation with learning-related queries. * Play an important role in creating an outstanding digital learning experience for everyone. We think youll love this role if you... * Enjoy organising people, information and processes. * Like learning new technology and digital systems. * Get satisfaction from solving problems. * Enjoy helping others succeed. * Take pride in producing accurate work. * Are naturally curious and always looking for better ways of doing things. * Can juggle competing priorities whilst remaining calm and approachable. What success looks like Six months from now... * Colleagues know youre someone they can rely on. * Youre confidently supporting colleagues with our learning platforms. * Learning records are accurate, accessible and up to date. * Managers trust the reports and information you provide. By the end of your first year... o Youre recognised as one of our Learning Management System specialists. o Youve helped improve the digital learning experience across the organisation. o Colleagues enjoy working with you because you make learning simple, accessible and well organised. o Youve developed new skills and helped shape how learning is delivered at MacIntyre. Why MacIntyre? One thing youll quickly discover is that people stay. Not because they have to, but because they genuinely enjoy working here. Youll join a supportive, welcoming team who enjoy helping one another, sharing knowledge and celebrating success together. Many of our colleagues have built long careers with MacIntyre because theyve been trusted, encouraged to develop and given opportunities to grow. If youre looking for a role where youll be supported to learn, encouraged to share ideas and given the opportunity to make a genuine difference, wed love to hear from you. What youll bring Were much more interested in your motivation, values and potential than whether youve used every system weve listed. Youll ideally bring: o Experience in administration, Learning & Development, HR or another customer-focused environment. o Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Teams. o Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data. o Experience producing reports or management information. o Strong communication and relationship-building skills. o A proactive approach to improving processes. o A genuine enthusiasm for learning and helping others. Experience of Totara, OneFile, City & Guilds Walled Garden or another Learning Management System would be an advantage, but its certainly not essential, well support you to learn. Most importantly, were looking for someone who shares MacIntyres DNA: Honest, Respectful, Kind, Compassionate and Fun. About us MacIntyre is a national charity supporting more than 1,400 children, young people and adults who have a learning disability or are autistic. For 60 years, weve worked alongside people to build lives filled with opportunity, connection and belonging. Whatever your role, youll help make that possible. Pay and benefits Alongside your salary, youll enjoy a range of benefits including: o 6 weeks annual leave per year including public holidays o Pension scheme o Paid DBS check o Health and wellbeing support, including an Employee Assistance Programme o Shopping discounts through Blue Light Card and our staff discounts scheme o Ongoing training and career development See the full range of benefits on the Careers page of our website.
