The Role & The Work

This is an opportunity to join a high-growth, nationally recognised Construction team, operating at the forefront of major UK developments. With continued investment and expansion, the team is building something for the next generation and you’ll be part of that journey.
You will focus primarily on Non-Contentious Construction work, advising on high-value development and infrastructure projects across sectors including real estate, renewable energy, utilities and large-scale engineering. From flagship commercial developments to next-generation energy projects, your work will sit at the centre of how places, assets and infrastructure are delivered.
Working closely with leading Partners and a well-resourced national team, you will support on the full lifecycle of projects, drafting and negotiating industry-standard contracts, advising on risk allocation and helping shape the legal frameworks behind complex builds.
Beyond the technical work, this is a team that values collaboration, visibility and progression. You will be encouraged to take ownership of client relationships, contribute to business development and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice.
With a fully integrated, multi-office structure, you’ll collaborate across the UK and gain exposure to high-profile clients, including developers, funders, public sector bodies and major infrastructure players.

Your Experience
- Scots Qualified Construction Solicitor (1-4 PQE)
Strong experience in non-contentious construction (mixed practices also considered)
Familiarity with standard form construction contracts (e.g. JCT, NEC)
Commercially aware with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Confident communicator with client-facing experience
Ability to manage workloads independently and meet deadlines
Collaborative mindset with ambition to progress
