We have a new opportunity for a Specialist Orthodontist to join us at Portman Dentex Solent Orthodontics, North Baddesley, Southampton SO52 9DU
In April 2026 we merged Abbey Orthodontic Centre with Hendrickse to create PortmanDentex Solent Orthodontics, a large practice where we can serve both our NHS and private patients. Our teams have been providing high-quality orthodontic care in and around Hampshire for over 20 years and we are now seeking an additional Specialist to join the team.
If you are a Specialist Orthodontist with right to work in the UK looking for a mixed role
PortmanDentex Solent Orthodontics are one of circa 70 specialist orthodontic practices within the PortmanDentex Group, making us the leading orthodontic provider in the UK.
You will have access to our large network of like-minded specialists, many of whom are leaders within the field of Orthodontics. In addition, you’ll be surrounded by skilled practice teams who’ll partner with you to deliver exceptional patient care. The support doesn’t end there though, we also offer:
meaning you can use your preferred equipment, materials, labs, and referral pathways to deliver the best level of care to your patients. We’ll champion you as a self-employed clinician, and ensure you always retain your unique identity
enabling you to maximise your diary utilisation, both to deliver contracts and high quality private work
we can connect you with clinical mentors to guide and advise you, as well as running regular CPD events with some of our best-in-class dentists and specialists
we have a team of practising clinicians who split their week between delivering outstanding care to their patients, and acting as a key link between our clinicians and the wider business.
