- Supported Living on behalf of our client, a well-established and values-driven organisation within the Health & Social Care sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated leader to take responsibility for the operational management and ongoing development of a supported living service, supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
The vacancy has arisen due to the promotion of the current Registered Manager, reflecting the organisation's commitment to developing and retaining talented staff.
This is not a turnaround role.
The successful candidate will be joining a well-established, settled and highly organised service with experienced staff, strong support structures and an excellent reputation.
The service has a positive RQIA inspection history and is already performing well, making this an ideal opportunity for a manager who is looking to build upon existing success.
About the Role As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the leadership, management, and regulatory compliance of the supported living service.
You will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care while leading and developing a dedicated staff team.
You will play a key role in promoting independence, inclusion, and meaningful outcomes for service users, while ensuring the service meets all regulatory and organisational standards.
In addition, the Registered Manager is supported by a strong management structure, including four Assistant Managers, ensuring excellent operational support and shared leadership across the service.
Key Responsibilities Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of the service Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support Maintain full compliance with RQIA standards and relevant legislation Lead, support and develop staff team including supervision and performance management Manage staffing levels, resources, and service budgets effectively Build strong relationships with families, stakeholders, and external professionals Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and service user outcomes Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives Participate in the on-call rota Essential Criteria Applicants must meet one of the following qualification pathways: Professional Social Work qualification (NISCC registered), OR Registered Nurse (NMC), OR Allied Health Professional (HCPC), OR Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care AND Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a Health & Social Care setting At least 2 years' experience in an operational management role In addition: Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism Proven experience managing staff teams Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance Experience in care planning and person-centred practice Full UK driving licence and access to transport Registered or eligible for registration with NISCC The successful candidate will inherit a stable and well-run service with experienced staff, established systems and excellent support.
With four Assistant Managers already in post, this role offers a strong management structure and plenty of operational support, allowing the successful candidate to focus on leadership, quality, compliance and the continued development of the service.
