National Account Manager | Toys & Games | Home-based | Permanent

Are you an experienced sales professional who thrives on building long-term customer relationships and growing key national accounts? Read on if you’re looking for your next commercial challenge in a creative and collaborative business.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of key national accounts, nurturing existing relationships and driving growth through increased listings and sales.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet and exceed targets.
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations, quotations, and promotional proposals.
  • Handle all aspects of trading relationships, including negotiating terms, planning promotions, and forecasting performance.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and internal planning meetings to represent the business and strengthen partnerships.

Experience and skills that will deliver success in this role: The right candidate is a commercially-minded sales professional, with a proven track record of building strong relationships and delivering results in a product-led environment. You’ll be confident, driven, and skilled at working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.

Essential:
  • Proven success in managing and growing top tier national accounts within retail, grocery or gift channels with experience selling character licensed or related consumer products.
  • Experience with bespoke or special edition product ranges.
  • Confident negotiator with strong commercial acumen and forecasting ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working from home and managing your own time effectively.
Desirable:
  • Background in nursery, toy or gift sectors.
  • Skilled in using epos data for planning and performance analysis.
