Events Manager
\nSalary: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience
\nContract: 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
\nLocation & Working Pattern 35 hours per week: Predominantly home-based, with travel across England and Wales to support conferences, awards, meetings and events. Occasional travel to London and Stockport offices will also be required. Flexibility to travel is essential.

\nOur client is the national membership organisation representing Local Authority Building Control teams across England and Wales. Through a diverse programme of conferences, awards ceremonies, professional training, webinars and national recruitment assessment centres, they bring together professionals from across the sector to share knowledge, celebrate success and support the future of building control.
\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Events Manager to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
\nThis is more than an events delivery role. It's an opportunity to lead a nationally recognised events programme, manage a talented team and work closely with senior leaders to continually enhance the quality and impact of events.
\nThe Role
\nYou'll take ownership of planning and delivering a varied programme of events from concept through to completion, ensuring every event is delivered to the highest professional standard.
\nWorking closely with colleagues across the business, you'll lead a small team of Event Coordinators, manage suppliers, venues, budgets and logistics, while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners.
\nNo two weeks are the same. From flagship conferences and prestigious awards ceremonies to webinars, professional training and recruitment assessment centres, you'll play a key role in delivering events that make a genuine difference to members and the wider profession.
