Are you highly organised, customer-focused and looking for your next challenge in transport and logistics? Whether you're already working as a Planner or are looking to develop into a planning role from a Transport Administrator, Logistics Coordinator or Operational Support position, we'd love to hear from you.We have an exciting opportunity for a Planner to join our busy transport operation working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern .

In this role, you'll be responsible for planning and optimising daily delivery routes, coordinating resources effectively and ensuring service levels are achieved safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.

You'll work closely with drivers, customers and operational teams to keep the operation moving while responding to the changing demands of a fast-paced logistics environment.Pay, benefits and more: Salary up to £31900per annum.20 days holiday, with the option to buy additional days.Access to XPO benefits including high-street discounts, cycle to work scheme and workplace pension.Ongoing development opportunities within a leading global logistics business.A supportive, fast-paced environment where your contribution makes a real difference.4 on 4 off shift pattern, offering a great work-life balance.What you need to succeed at XPO: Previous experience within transport, logistics, planning, administration or coordination roles.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with drivers, customers and operational teams.Good IT and data management skills.A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.An understanding of transport operations would be advantageous.Previous experience of Transport Management Systems (TMS) would be beneficial.Experience using Tachomaster or similar driver compliance systems would be highly desirable.Looking to develop your career within transport planning and logistics.Calm and resilient under pressure, with the ability to adapt to changing operational demands.Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering excellent service.A collaborative team player who enjoys building strong working relationships.Positive, adaptable and eager to learn.What you need to succeed at XPO: Experience within transport, logistics, administration, coordination or planning environments.Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering excellent customer service.Good IT skills and confidence working with operational systems and data.Previous experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and/or Tachomaster would be advantageous.A keen interest in developing a career within transport planning.The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing operational demands.Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude and a genuine team-focused approach.Be part of something big.
