This role offers excellent client contact from day one, allowing you to manage your own caseload while supporting on high-value and technically challenging matters. You'll join a collaborative team that prides itself on delivering exceptional client service and building long-lasting client relationships.
The Role
You'll advise clients across a varied caseload of private family matters, including:
- Financial remedy proceedings
Private children disputes
Complex and international children matters
High-net-worth and sensitive family cases
Alongside managing your own matters, you'll work closely with senior lawyers on more complex cases, helping to deliver practical, commercial and client-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of family law matters from instruction through to conclusion
Advising clients on financial remedy and private children proceedings
Preparing court applications, witness statements, financial disclosure and other legal documentation
Supporting Partners on complex and cross-border family matters
Instructing and liaising with counsel, experts and other professional advisers
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering exceptional levels of client care
Ensuring accurate file management, time recording and billing
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business
Contributing to business development through networking, marketing initiatives, articles, podcasts and industry events
The successful candidate will be an experienced Family Solicitor with a solid grounding in both financial and children work. xwwtmva You'll be confident managing your own caseload while also enjoying working as part of a collaborative team on more complex matters.
You'll also have:
- Strong technical knowledge of private family law
Ideally 3 years' PQE in private Family Law
Excellent communication and drafting skills
A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
Outstanding client care and relationship management skills
A genuine interest in business development and helping to grow the department
