Job description
A high-growth UK infrastructure business is seeking an ambitious Associate Legal Counsel to join its collaborative legal team during an exciting phase of expansion. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to move closer to the commercial heart of a business, supporting a wide range of strategic projects including M&A, corporate finance initiatives, commercial contracts and broader in-house legal matters. The Role You will work closely with senior lawyers and stakeholders across the business, supporting on: * Corporate transactions, including M&A, investments, restructurings and corporate finance matters * Transaction execution, due diligence and legal project management * Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements * Advising on governance, legal risk and regulatory matters * Managing external counsel and supporting strategic business initiatives * A broad range of day-to-day in-house legal work as required This is a hands-on role offering significant exposure to senior decision-makers and commercially important projects.
