Security Systems Engineer – CCTV & Access ControlLocation: Mobile role covering Peterborough, London, Chichester, Brighton and surrounding areasSalary: Up to £50,000Successful candidate will undergo a basic DBS checkHyde is looking for a Security Systems Engineer – CCTV & Access Control to support security systems across our homes and communal buildings.Key DutiesCheck that CCTV, access control, door entry and warden call works meet legal, safety and quality standards.Complete property surveys and prepare specifications, reports, drawings, tender documents and cost estimates.Manage contractors and monitor performance against agreed service levels, quality standards and budgets.Identify risks, defects and recurring issues, then recommend clear and practical solutions.Work with customers, contractors, colleagues and external partners to resolve security-related repairs and emergency issues.Why Join Hyde?This is a chance to use your security systems experience to help keep customers safe.

Hyde also offers learning and career development support to help you build your technical career.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who can bring experience as a Security Systems Engineer, CCTV Engineer, Access Control Engineer, Fire & Security Engineer, Security Surveyor or Project Engineer:Experience working with CCTV, access control, door entry, warden call or similar security systems.The ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers, contractors and colleagues.A practical approach to solving problems and making sound recommendations.Confidence reviewing work, challenging poor quality and supporting better contractor performance.A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the role's mobile patch.Travel and working arrangementsThis is a mobile role, so regular travel will be required across the patch.
