Job description
Senior Fire Door Inspector / Surveyor – BM TRADA Q-Mark Location: Surrey & London Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE + Commission + Benefits The Opportunity This is a rare and standout opportunity for a highly experienced Senior Fire Door Inspector to join a growing and ambitious fire door specialist at a pivotal stage of their development. This is not a standard surveying role. You will play a central part in supporting the business through the BM TRADA Q-Mark scheme whilst carrying out fire door surveys directly, taking on a senior, client-facing position with real influence over the direction and quality of the business. For commercially minded candidates there is also genuine earning potential through a generous commission structure on new business and referrals. The Role As Senior Fire Door Inspector, you will take ownership of fire door surveys across high-end residential blocks — typically five to six storeys — carrying out thorough compliance inspections, producing client-ready reports and supporting the business through the BM TRADA Q-Mark accreditation process. The role is split roughly 75% site-based and 25% office-based, flexing toward a 50/50 split depending on reporting and paperwork load.
