Job responsibilitiesAt Wyre Forest Health Partnership, you'll be joining a well-established and supportive GP partnership with the structure, resources and experience to help you deliver excellent patient care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
We are a true GP partnership, with 28 GP Partners working across our practices, supported by a wider team of salaried GPs and healthcare professionals. We value the contribution of every clinician and believe in investing in the future of General Practice.
For doctors who are interested in developing their career within partnership, we offer a clear route and opportunities to explore Partnership when the time is right. We support colleagues who want to understand more about the role of a Partner, develop leadership skills and become involved in shaping the future direction of our organisation.
We believe General Practice is at its best when clinicians are supported, valued and able to develop. You'll work alongside experienced GPs, clinical leads and a broad multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to develop specialist interests and contribute to service improvement.
We actively support portfolio careers and recognise that many GPs want a role that combines clinical practice with other professional interests. We have established links with Birmingham Medical School and Three Counties Medical School, providing opportunities to be involved in undergraduate medical education and the development of future doctors.
Our practices support medical students, GP Registrars and other healthcare professionals in training, providing opportunities for colleagues who are interested in teaching, supervision, mentoring and developing the wider healthcare workforce.
Alongside education, there are opportunities to become involved in research, quality improvement, clinical leadership, service development and other non-clinical areas of interest. Where appropriate, we will consider supporting funded sessions for non-clinical work, enabling you to build a career that reflects your interests, skills and ambitions.
Whether you are looking for an excellent salaried GP role, considering a future career as a GP Partner, or wanting to develop a broader portfolio career, we will support you to achieve your goals.
