Salary: £8.00 per hour during your apprenticeship, and on successful completion: Progress to a Support Worker role earning £13.46 per hour plus enhancements.

Your Apprenticeship Journey:Month 1:
  • Welcome to David Lewis.
  • Full induction.
  • Meet your mentor.
  • Begin learning alongside experienced Support Workers.

Months 2–6:Develop the knowledge and confidence to support people with:
  • Daily living.
  • Communication.
  • Independence.
  • Community activities.
  • Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Safeguarding.
  • Medication awareness.
  • Autism and learning disability support.

Months 7–12:Complete your qualification, build your confidence and prepare for your End Point Assessment while becoming a valued member of your team.
What Happens Next?Successful apprentices will have the opportunity to progress into a permanent Support Worker role.
Starting salary after completion: £13.46 per hour.
From there your career could lead to:
