Robert Half are working with a Swindon based organisation seeking an experienced Management Accountant to support the finance team on a short-term temporary basis.
This role will provide valuable support to the Assistant Accountant and wider finance function during a busy period, with a particular focus on month-end activities, audit support, and managing finance-related queries.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and responding to queries received through the finance inbox.
Providing support with VAT-related queries and financial information requests for tenders.
Assisting with month-end reviews and financial analysis.
Reviewing trial balances, overhead costs, journals, and intercompany recharges.
Supporting work-in-progress (WIP) reporting activities.
Assisting with audit requests and preparing information for auditors.
Helping to ensure financial information is accurate, complete, and delivered within deadlines.
Strong understanding of month-end processes.
Comfortable reviewing journals, reconciliations, and financial data.
Good working knowledge of VAT principles.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Able to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Available at short notice.
