Salary - £30,000 to £56,000 DOE\n

\nService Care Solutions are working in partnership with a leading clinician-led neurodevelopmental service to recruit a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner – Social Worker to join its growing multidisciplinary team.\n
\n
\nThis is an exciting opportunity to support high-quality autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people through NHS-funded and private pathways. The role combines remote developmental history interviews with face-to-face assessment activity and collaborative MDT discussions.\n
\nFull-time and part-time opportunities are available, with a minimum commitment of 3 days per week.\n

Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments
    • \n
  • Complete remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom
    • \n
  • Participate in collaborative MDT diagnostic discussions, supported by senior clinicians where required
    • \n
  • Produce accurate clinical reports and diagnostic formulations, supported by digital tools
    • \n
  • Deliver clinical supervision where applicable
    • \n
  • Travel to a clinic base for in-person assessments where required
    • \n
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
    • \n

Requirements\n
    \n
  • Minimum 1 year’s professional registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England
    • \n
  • HCPC – Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist
    • \n
  • NMC – Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse, General Nurse, Children’s Nurse
    • \n
  • GMC – Medical Practitioners
    • \n
  • Social Work England – Social Worker
    • \n
  • At least 1 year’s experience conducting autism and/or ADHD diagnostic assessments
    • \n
  • Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations
    • \n
  • In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD
    • \n
  • Experience using tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R or equivalent
    • \n
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
    • \n
