Location: Canterbury (own transport required)Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + Excellent BenefitsHours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm (40 hours per week)

Office Angels are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a growing and successful business for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee their busy warehouse operation. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who can balance operational duties with effective people management, driving efficiency, productivity and continuous improvement across the warehouse function.

The Role

As Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of up to 10 Warehouse Operatives, with plans for the team to grow in the future. This is a role for someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and be part of the team whilst having the confidence and experience to step up and lead when needed.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through the warehouse, maintaining excellent service levels and managing courier relationships to ensure customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a warehouse team, creating a positive and productive working environment * Oversee all warehouse operations, including goods in, goods out, picking, packing and stock replenishment * Manage daily workload allocation and ensure team performance targets are achieved * Monitor order fulfilment to ensure all orders are dispatched on the correct day * Maintain accurate stock control using the barcode management system * Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency and productivity * Support recruitment, training and development as the warehouse team continues to grow * Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times

About You

• Previous experience managing or supervising a warehouse team * Strong understanding of pick-and-pack warehouse operations * A hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Experience working within a picking and packing warehouse environment would be desirable * Confidence managing courier relationships and logistics processes * Positive, energetic and proactive attitude * A natural leader who can gain the respect of their team whilst maintaining accountability * Keen to learn the company's products and continuously improve operations
