We are currently recruiting for an experienced Administration Team Member to join a busy Logistics and Warehouse operation in East Peckham.
\n
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in warehouse administration, logistics administration, or office administration within a warehouse environment who is looking to take on additional responsibility. Working as the second-in-command to the Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of a team of 11 while ensuring all orders are processed and dispatched efficiently.

This is a varied role that combines administration, operational coordination, and hands-on warehouse support during peak periods.
Working Hours\n
Rotating Weekly Shifts:
\n
\n - Week 1: 8:00am to 4:00pm
\n - Week 2: 10:00am to 6:00pm
\n
Key Responsibilities\n
\n - Support the Team Leader with the day-to-day management of the administration team.
\n - Oversee the order allocation and dispatch process.
\n - Coordinate courier bookings and maintain accurate information flow.
\n - Print and prepare picking notes and delivery documentation.
\n - Liaise with multiple departments to ensure orders are processed and shipped on time.
\n - Resolve issues quickly and effectively to minimise delays.
\n - Respond to customer and internal queries.
\n - Finalise orders and maintain accurate records.
\n - Monitor goods-in and stock control administration activities.
\n - Suggest and implement process improvements where appropriate.
\n - Ensure documentation is maintained, archived, and compliant.
\n - Report Health & Safety concerns as required.
\n - Assist with warehouse picking and packing during busy periods.

About You\n
To be successful in this role, you will have:

\n - Previous experience within a warehouse administration, logistics administration, or operational office environment.
\n - Experience supporting, leading, or supervising a team.
\n - Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
\n - Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across departments.
\n - A proactive and hands-on approach.
\n - Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
\n - The ability to work independently and perform under pressure.
\n - A willingness to support warehouse operations when required.
