THE ROLE
\nWe are currently seeking a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join our client based in HERTFORDSHIRE.
\nYou will work on high volume residential projects along with projects in other sectors to include healthare, commercial and industrial encompassing both new build and refurbishment.
\nDuties will include structural design and analysis of buildings and structural elements.
\nYou will prepare calculations, reports and also sketches.
\nYou will review and check drawings.
\nYou will coordinate with clients, architects and the rest of the professional team.
\nYou should be able to look after, plan and monitor your own workload working to agreed timescales.
\n\nTHE CLIENT
\nOur client is a successful, growing firm of consulting engineers who are working on various projects in the built environment.
\nThey currently have three UK offices.
\nTHE CANDIDATE
\nYou must have a BSc in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
\nYou must have at least three years' experience of working in a structural engineering consultancy.
\nYou need to have good working knowledge of UK design standards and also the Eurocodes.
\nYou should be working towards becoming Chartered with the ICE or IStructE.
\nYou must have excellent communication skills - both written and spoken.
\nA full UK driving licence is required.
\nSalary is negotiable from £36000 to £46000 per annum depending upon experience plus pension, healthcare cash back plan, some WFH although 3 days in the office is required, life assurance and a range of other benefits.
