About the Company
Wakefield Council is investing in its Building Control Service and we're seeking a talented Senior Building Control Surveyor to join our ambitious and expanding team. This is an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including complex developments and higher-risk buildings, whilst helping shape the future of Building Control across the district.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for:
- Complex plan assessments and site inspections
Building Regulations compliance and enforcement
Dangerous structures and emergency response work
Supporting major development projects
Mentoring and supporting colleagues
Working with developers, architects and stakeholders to deliver safe, sustainable communities
