Our client Scottish Power Energy Networks are currently looking for a Community Manager to join their team based in Glasgow on a contract basis initially. Location: St Vincent Street Glasgow HQ/hybrid style working with regular travel to meet stakeholder groups
Duration: 6 month initial contract, with scope of extension
Job Purpose
Develop and own the company's Community Benefits Framework.
Develop and maintain processes for effective distribution of funding through robust and effective mechanisms.
Be a key liaison with the corporate support functions - know how to use these to maximise reputational benefit.
Develop approach which leverages current £5m SPT Net Zero Fund to full advantage, utilising clear examples of delivering impact.
Accountability Statements
Develop a Community Benefits proposal for the RIIO-T3 business plan period. Ensuring the plan has internal and external buy-in.
Develop a proposal in line with govt and regulator guidance, evidencing compliance and robust governance procedures.
Manage, co-ordinate and deliver our Community Benefit Framework across a broad and inclusive range of key stakeholders and local community groups.
