They are seeking an experienced Head of FP&A to join their finance leadership team in London. This is an opportunity to shape financial planning processes develop business intelligence capabilities and provide strategic insights that directly influence executive decision making across the organisation.
Position Overview
As Head of FP&A you will lead the financial planning and analysis function delivering high-quality insights and management information to support strategic decision making. You will own the forecasting budgeting and long-term planning processes while working collaboratively across finance and business functions. This role offers the opportunity to develop business intelligence capabilities drive continuous improvement in analytics and reporting and provide financial leadership on growth initiatives pricing strategies and investment decisions. You will play a pivotal role in maximising the use of data across the organisation to deliver forward-looking commercial insights.
Responsibilities
Build strong relationships across finance and business functions to enable effective collaboration Lead develop and mentor the FP&A team supporting individual growth and succession planning Drive improvements in data management and business intelligence capabilities Develop insightful reporting that provides visibility of financial performance across key business drivers Lead production and presentation of management information for Executive Leadership and Board meetings Develop and monitor key performance indicators to support performance management and forecasting accuracy Own and continuously improve rolling forecast annual budgeting and long-term planning cycles Deliver robust financial modelling and commercial analysis to support business development and M&A Partner with Finance Director CFO and senior finance leadership on strategic initiatives and business cases Identify trends risks and opportunities through analysis of financial and operational data Provide financial leadership to support business growth pricing strategies and customer retention Support strategic investment decisions through detailed financial analysis and recommendationsRequirements
Professionally qualified accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent) Strong commercial acumen gained within large complex organisations Excellent presentation communication and stakeholder management skills Highly analytical with extensive experience working with large datasets Proven ability to translate complex information into meaningful business insights Demonstrated experience leading FP&A budgeting and forecasting in complex multi-entity organisations Proven experience developing and leading high-performing finance teams Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with finance systems planning tools and business intelligence platforms Ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation Strong financial modelling capabilities Experience supporting M&A activities and business development initiativesBenefits
