\n Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for the opportunity to lead a high-quality children’s residential service where you can genuinely make a difference?\n

\n We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate leader to manage a children’s residential home in South Ribble, Preston, supporting children and young people with emotional, behavioural and complex needs.\n
\n
\n This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Registered Manager to take ownership of a service, lead a committed team, and create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.\n
\n
The Role As Registered Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the home delivers outstanding care, strong safeguarding practice, and positive outcomes for children and young people.\n
\n
\n You will be responsible for:\n
\n
\n ? Leading, motivating, and developing a dedicated residential care team\n
\n ? Ensuring the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and quality standards\n
\n ? Championing safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people\n
\n ? Creating a positive, child-centred culture built around care, stability, and achievement\n
\n ? Supporting staff development, supervision, and performance management\n
\n ? Working collaboratively with families, professionals, and external agencies\n
\n ? Driving continuous improvement across the service\n
\n

About You We are looking for a confident and compassionate Registered Manager who has:\n
\n
\n ? Proven experience managing within children’s residential care\n
\n ? A strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements\n
\n ? Experience supporting children and young people with complex needs, including emotional and behavioural difficulties\n
\n ? Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)\n
\n ? Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills\n
\n ? The ability to inspire, support, and develop a team\n
\n ? A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people\n
\n
