You'll be joining a nationally recognised healthcare provider that supports thousands of patients every year with specialist treatments in the community. As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you'll manage your own caseload while delivering exceptional clinical care and making a genuine difference to patients throughout their cancer journey.\n

The Role\n
\n
\nAs a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will:\n
\n
    \n
  • Deliver chemotherapy treatments safely within patients' homes across the RG, SL and HA postcode areas
  • \n
  • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments before and during treatment
  • \n
  • Administer IV chemotherapy, cannulation and phlebotomy
  • \n
  • Monitor patients throughout treatment and respond appropriately to adverse reactions
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships with patients, families and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care
  • \n
About You\n
\n
\nTo be successful in this role, you'll have:\n
\n
    \n
  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration
  • \n
  • Experience administering chemotherapy in either a hospital or community setting
  • \n
  • SACT Passport or recognised chemotherapy qualification (preferred)
  • \n
  • Competency in IV therapy, cannulation and phlebotomy
  • \n
  • Excellent clinical assessment skills and the confidence to work independently
  • \n
  • Full UK driving licence
  • \n
