Are you a qualified advanced clinical practitioner passionate about Integrated Sexual Health?
We are seeking a motivated band 8a advanced clinical practitioner in ISH to join our forward-thinking ISH team.
We welcome applicants from nursing, midwifery or allied health professions who are qualified advanced clinical practitioners with extensive Integrated Sexual Health experience who are keen to work in a supportive and multidisciplinary environment.
We have 1 fixed term 12-month post who will focus on supporting the development of targeted sexual health in reach and outreach services for vulnerable and underserved Westminster residents who remain under-represented within traditional healthcare settings
You will be fully supported in your role by the department's consultant nurses and wider leadership teams.

Main duties of the job- Demonstrate effectiveness in prioritising, escalating, de-escalating, providing self help or management advice and refer for treatment/assessment/decision supportin a timely manner within the clinical context of their role.
- Applies high level decision-making and assessment skills to formulate appropriatedifferential diagnoses based on synthesis of clinical findings.
- Has the autonomy and authority to apply judgement and clinical reasoning torequest, where indicated, appropriate diagnostic tests/investigations (includingmicroscopy) based on differential diagnoses and act on previously requestedresults of tests/investigations working collaboratively with other healthcareprofessionals.
- Formulates an action plan for the treatment of the patient, synthesising clinicalinformation based on the patient's presentation, history, clinical assessment andfindings from relevant investigations, using appropriate evidence-based practice.
- Works as an independent prescriber and implements non-pharmacologicalrelated interventions/ therapies, dependent on situation and technicalrequirements of care.
- Act within own advanced scope of practice when making professional judgementsand clinical reasoning to manage risk.

- MSc in advanced clinical practice (or equivalent)

- Recognised teaching qualification (SSSA, FRT and RCT)
