Our client CalaChem are currently recruiting for an Administrator (Engineering Planner) to join their team based in Grangemouth on a contract basis initially. Ideally for this role they are looking for an experienced Administrator with a relevant background. For more information on this role see below:
Purpose The Engineering Planner & Administrator provides multi-functional planning of tasks, manpower and materials for routine engineering maintenance, minor projects and shutdown activities. The role holder will also provide administrative support within engineering, including the management of drawings including AUTOCAD services, certification and other engineering related documents, data systems input work and a wide range of engineering support tasks, e.g. all tasks received within the .Gran Engineering work folder.
Principle Accountabilities
Operating centrally on behalf of the management team, deliver a broad range of administrative and technical clerking services, as dictated by transient demand.
Be the principal focus of all planned engineering activities in the area of responsibility and the provider of planning expertise and resource
Plan and prioritise the engineering workload on weekly basis whilst maintaining an overview of the workload over the year, particularly during shutdown periods
Operate a "Plan, Do and Review" cycle so that planned work is resourced and completed as per the plan
