\nAbout the Role\n
\nAn established and respected law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join its growing dispute resolution team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded litigator looking to manage a varied caseload, work closely with clients, and play an integral role in the continued development of the litigation practice.\n
\nThe successful candidate will handle a broad range of contentious matters, with approximately 50% of the caseload focused on Property Litigation and 50% on Civil & Commercial Litigation. This role offers genuine autonomy, responsibility from day one, and the opportunity to work within a collaborative and supportive team.\n

\nKey Responsibilities\n

  • Manage a varied litigation caseload from instruction through to resolution.
    • \n
  • Advise clients on a broad range of contentious legal matters.
    • \n
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery.
    • \n
  • Take ownership of matters, ensuring files are progressed efficiently and commercially.
    • \n
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues while confidently managing matters independently.
    • \n
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the litigation department.
    • \n

  • Landlord and tenant disputes

  • Residential and commercial property disputes

  • Enfranchisement matters

  • Neighbour disputes

  • Party wall disputes

  • Easements, boundary and rights of way disputes

Civil & Commercial Litigation (Approximately 50%)\n

  • Contract disputes

  • Commercial disputes

  • Professional negligence claims

  • Company and partnership disputes

  • Employment disputes

  • General civil litigation matters

About You\n
\nThe successful candidate will have:\n
\n
    \n
  • Qualified Solicitor status (or equivalent legal qualification with relevant litigation experience).
    • \n
  • Experience managing a broad litigation caseload.
    • \n
  • The ability to work independently and prioritise competing demands.
    • \n
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills.
    • \n
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach to dispute resolution.
    • \n
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • \n
  • A proactive attitude with the ambition to develop professionally and contribute to the growth of the team.
    • \n
Experience using a legal case management system is advantageous, although training will be provided.\n
