# Contracts Manager - Water & Infrastructure (Hybrid) **Location:** Hybrid **Hours:** 37.75 hours per week **Salary:** Competitive + Excellent Benefits Are you an experienced Contracts Manager looking to join a leading engineering and infrastructure business delivering complex projects across the UK? Our client is one of the UKs largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors,delivering innovative engineering solutions across the water,power,energy,pharmaceutical,nuclear,and food & beverage sectors. With over a century of industry expertise,they are renowned for delivering high-quality projects that support critical infrastructure,improve environmental performance and provide long-term value for clients. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of multiple contracts,leading project delivery teams while ensuring operational excellence,commercial success and exceptional client relationships. ## The Role As a Contracts Manager,youll be responsible for leading the successful delivery of contracts,ensuring projects are completed safely,efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Youll act as the key point of contact for clients,support operational and back-office teams,and provide leadership across multiple functions to achieve successful project outcomes. ### Key Responsibilities * Lead the safe,efficient and successful delivery of contracts,ensuring projects are delivered right first time. * Champion high standards of health,safety,environmental compliance and employee wellbeing. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients,acting as a trusted point of contact. * Monitor contract performance,identifying risks,opportunities and implementing effective solutions. * Ensure all contractual,technical and quality requirements are met. * Support resource planning and work closely with senior leadership on technical capability,business development and tender opportunities. * Manage project programmes,commercial performance and contractual obligations. * Lead,mentor and develop teams through clear objectives,coaching and regular performance reviews. * Promote collaboration across operational,engineering and support functions to deliver outstanding results. ## About You To be successful in this role,youll have: * Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within utilities,engineering,infrastructure or a similar contracting environment. * Excellent communication,negotiation and stakeholder management skills. * Strong commercial awareness with experience managing contract performance and profitability. * A positive,collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence teams and clients. * A passion for continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Knowledge of MEICA,electrical systems,quality standards and NEC4 contracts would be advantageous. * Engineering-related qualifications and a strong understanding of project and contract management principles. * A full UK driving licence. ## Whats on Offer? * Competitive salary * Hybrid working * 37.75-hour working week * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Company pension scheme * Private healthcare * Death in service benefit * Employee Assistance Programme * Holiday purchase scheme (buy up to 5 additional days) * Employee discounts at major high street and online retailers * Paid overtime opportunities * Refer-a-friend bonus scheme * Ongoing training,development and genuine career progression opportunities If youre an experienced Contracts Manager looking to join a forward-thinking engineering business where you can make a real impact on major infrastructure projects,wed love to hear from you.
